For the last few weeks Shankar is busy shooting portions of the climax scenes of his most ambitious film till date, Sun Pictures Endhiran, featuring superstar Rajinikanth and Aiswarya Rai

Soon Shankar and his stunt men will be moving to Prasad Studio where a huge set has been put up where a fight scene will be picturised as the whole place will go up in flames.

It will be for the first time in Indian cinema where advanced fire fighting technique methods will be used.

Kalabhavan Mani is now currently doing certain good roles in Endhiran, Modhi Vilayadu and Saritharam.

While speaking to the media recently he said,” I am doing the lead role in two Malayalam film after a long time. Moreover I will be acting if I get an important role.

I have not forgotten Tamil since I am acting in Malayalam films. I am acting in villain and character roles. I have also lot of Telugu films in hand. I will act as per the dates available. Currently I am acting in Rajinikanth starrer Endhiran in some important roles.

I am doing a character role filled with comedy. Apart from this I am acting in Modhi Vilayadu and Saritharam. I have a good response in Tamil cinema. I have acted in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu cinema. I do not know the figure of films I have acted.

I act in films not for Award sake. If I get a good role I will act wholeheartedly. I am happy that people are receiving well.”
