Sameera Reddy comes out of her glamour image from Gautam’s Vaaranam Aayiram. Her role on the movie touched every one after its tragic end. She was pleased with her role in that film and she was really sad that it didn’t last till the end of the movie.

But now again the glamourous girl is back in her next venture Asal. In Asal, she plays opposite to Ajith and she revealed about her character in the film. She was not playing the usual modern girl but a corporate one. She was glad that she was offered such an exciting role in Asal.

It is quite notable that she is taller than most of her Tamil heroes. But she doesn’t care about it and she feels very proud of her tall height. She says that the glamorous image depends upon the body attitude of one and it doesn’t come from the dresses they wore.

Sameera will be back with Goutham Menon in his next film which she says an edge-of-the-seat thriller.

Looks like the shooting for Ajith’s ‘Asal’ has finally begun. The movie is being directed by Saran, and the crew has already headed to Malaysia for the first schedule.

The film has the Ultimate Star in the lead, and he will be paired with Sameera Reddy and Bhavana. The three lead actors left for Malaysia last night, and shoot for the first schedule is expected to go on for a good two months.

It may be recalled that Ajith had earlier gone to Malaysia for his ‘Billa’, which went on to become a blockbuster. Following this, the actor, it is said, had expressed his desire to work there. A few songs, apart from action and sentiment sequences will be canned in Malaysia. Plans are also on to have a special schedule in Turkey, where a song in ‘Chandramukhi’ was shot. It may be recalled that ‘Asal’ is the next production venture of Sivaji Films after ‘Chandramukhi’.

Bharadwaj scores the music for this film, which is the Ultimate Star’s 49th film.

Mamtha New Heroine for Ajith ‘ASAL’: The Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that Mamta Mohandas, the svelte glam girl has signed up to be Ajith’s heroine in Saran directed Asal.

In an interview to a newspaper she is quoted as saying- “I’ m currently holding discussions with Saran for his movie Asal, opposite Ajith.” If it is true the Bangalore babe would have hit it big time.

Meanwhile, director Saran is known for having very glamorous heroines in his films. However it is not clear where Sameera Reddy stands in the film. Is she still the heroine of the film or are there two heroines in the film?

All this will be known in the coming days as the film’s shoot is likely to start in Italy with the picturisation of a song on the lead pair written by Vairamuthu and composed by Bhardwaj.

Wow! If what sources have said is believed to be true, then it’s gonna be the most sizzling pair ever spotted in Kollywood.

Ajith will start shooting for ‘ASAL’ from next week directed by Saran. Earlier, the filmmaker had signed up Sameera Reddy with Ajith and of course the director was in search of another heroine.

Now, it has been revealed that he had held talks with Anushka. Another interesting fact about the film that we could hear from the closest source is that Ajith would be enacting dual role again.
