Aegan Movie Review 

Plagarism isn’t about to go out of fashion anytime soon. There is no two way about it that Raju Sundaram’s Aegan is a rip-off of Farah Khan’s Main Hoon Na. The director had claimed he was ‘inspired’ by Back To School, probably he must not have seen the Hollywood film!
Anyway the Tamil version is no patch on Farah Khan’s movie. Like the proverbial curate’s egg, the film is good in parts. The first half is a rip-roaring rocker, while the second half it goes limp and the climax is a big let down.

Leave your logical mind at home, and don’t ask doubts regarding story and plotline because none exists! It is Diwali time and you want to have a crackling time at the movies then Aegan is fun unlimited (till interval).

The Story- Shiva (Ajit) is a dare devil cop, whose introduction scene is in Hong Kong, where he single handedly kills a mafia chief, and proves as his father the commissioner Karthik (Nassar) says- “He is a one-man army, who trusts only his gun”

Ultimate Star has turned more spiritual now these days that he visited and offered prayers at Shirdi Sai Baba temple last week and Chottranikarai Bhagavathy Amman temple yesterday on September 26, soon after he finished dubbing for ‘Aegan’ in Chennai.

Before acting in the remake film ‘Billa’, he personally met and received greetings from Super Star where he was delighted with a feast and was presented a book ‘Living Masters of Himalayas’. As in the shooting schedule of “Aegan” the crew with Ajith, Nayanthara and Director Raju Sundaram is off to Swiss Alps to finish shooting of the movies last song. The director had shot the entire movie includes four songs and the unit is likely to leave Chennai on Monday October 6 and the shooting will be made for a week. Yuvan Shankar had given a romantic song which will be choreographed by Raju Sundaram in a romantic mood
