Tamannaah, who made it big with her film Happy Days, drew critical acclaim for her last flick, Kalloori. But it’s only in the latter half of 2008 that she’s won both appreciation and plum offers like never before. Her roster now boasts of films with some of the top actors including Siddharth, Surya, Dhanush, and an untitled flick in Bollywood for Rajshri productions.

Currently, Tamannaah is in Pollachi shooting with Siddharth for Konjam Kashtam, Konjam Ishtam. Most of Siddharth’s female co-stars have had issues with him, including interference in direction. How’s it for Tamannaah? “Siddharth takes immense interest in all spheres of film-making. He gives inputs while shooting or tries to help me when we’re canning a tough sequence. If you think film-making is about team effort, then you’ll look at it positively,” she says.

Sri Lankan Tamil Relief Fund set up by the State Government is continuing its flow as actress Nayanthara was the first of Kollywood actress to contribute her share. According to a source from CM’s office that actress Nayanthara met M.Karunanidhi’s home at Gopalapuram early morning today (Oct 30) and handed over a cheque of Rs.5Lakhs. Already the fund rose up to Rs.1Crore mark within three days of the drive.
