The music director Yuvan Shankar Raja scored his music for the film Vaamanan which casts Subramaniapuram fame Jai. Priya Anand, a new face plays the debut opposite to him. The film is an action thriller movie and it shows Jai as a single mass action hero.
Once again Yuvan rocked up with his music in Vamanan. Pleasant use of strings, sarangi and tabla deserve mention. He has put together five songs for the film. The song Yaedho seygirai taken place already in the box office hits.

Cheran’s Pokkisham, the shooting for the film which has been in the making for two years, has finally ended. Now the post production works are bugun. In this film, Cheran plays the lead role and Padma Priya plays debut opposite to him.
The final shooting has ended with the climax shot in Malaysia. The film is produced by Jhabak and he revealed that the film will be a sure-shot of success. He is sure that the film will create more than twice the impact of Anjathey did.
He added that the film is shot very picturesquely with great music and for the first time that they had attempted producing a movie like this and they were sure that would be a roaring success. They had decided to release the film on the month of September
