Winning laurels with his tracks for ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’, Suriya is back to strike gold with his forthcoming film ‘Ayan’. K.V. Anand who won laurels for his debut directorial ‘Kana Kandein’ is back wielding the megaphone for this film produced by AVM Productions. A commercial entertainer, the auteur seems to have mixed exceptional plotlines. And here comes the most grandiloquent pair of Harris Jayaraj and Suriya who worked magic with ‘Kaakha Kaakha’, ‘Ghajini’ and the recent ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’.

‘Ayan’ is the name of ‘Brahma the Creator’ in ‘Tamil’
You get to see your favorite star ‘Surya’ in six packs physique, who looks awesome in the movie. Tamanna`s performance is an added flavor and is quite happy to act with young leading star like ‘Surya’

Yet another super hit movie from Surya and Sun Pictures.
Kudos to surya, his contribution and dedication towards the role. Surya played a complete contrast role from his previous film ‘Varanam Aayiram’, he is playing a soft hero in the first half and faces a transition into an action star in the second, he is playing almost a super hero role in second half and it works well for him. Interestingly the movie goes to various countries like Tanzania, Botswana and Namibia. A stunt sequence shot on Zanzibar, an island, is the additional highlight of the movie, surya did best job on action part. We has overtaken all young heros in kollywood.
Luck girl Tamannah plays lead lady role. She proves again that she can act and dance well.
Bollywood actor Akashdeep Saigal plays the baddie. he has good future in kollywood.
Another addtional highlight is Harris Jayaraj’s music, Surya and Harris combination continues thier magic after ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’
M.S Prabhu cinematography requires special mention. Don’t miss his stylish shots on exotic locations of Tanzania, Botswana and Namibia.
A special Hats off to Location Manager for zeroing down an unforeseen never-never land.
A grand round of applause to director K.V Anand for such a commerical entertainer with logic sequence
‘Ayan’ is a sure block buster.In one word, ‘Ayan’ is a movie to cherish and celebrate.

AYAN Movie Review
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY FOR A HEADACHE…
I was a good admirer of actors Surya & Vikram, Oh My God.. I can never call this a good movie… Another pathetic movie in the series… If Bhima made a flop show for vikram.. then Ayan is for Surya…. An Actor with more than 20 movies and many lessons learnt.. could have sensed the effect of movie to the audience.. and not sure why Surya didnt sense it…. Surya…. Please do not appear on TV shows again.. with regards to this movie…. Cant even compare with a 20 yr old smuggling story based movie.. such a pathetic screen play.. within 10 mins of the movie start we could sense the friend is sent by his rival as spy.. but the hero understands it after 1 hour… what a narration…. I dont think any one needs a six pack to act in such a directors movie… Poor Surya would loose his fame if he continues doing the same…. if video piracy is what you are trying to avert.. this has not done anything for that…. and this movie is not worth to watch in a pirated mode too..
When there are technologies like web hosting, file transfer at high speed with good network bandwidth, why should one pirate a movie through DVD across continents in person.. funny uh….
funny villain… doesnt show a feel of actual villain.. but irritates…
the songs at unappropriate situations..will make you regret goinga to the theatre to watch the movie…

I am Suchi. I go to 100s of sites every day and bad mouth Ayan. That is pretty much what I do all day long. To see my hard work, search for “sense the friend is sent by his rival as spy” and see how many sites I have updated. My hard work is not paying off. The movie seems to be running well. I need everybody to spread bad reviews about the movie. This movie should not run…please help! I am desperate to bring down this movie and ready to do anything…

I am suchi again. I have changed my opinion about Ayan after watching it the third time. I am wrong about my earlier review…please ignore it. I actually find the movie very addictive. I love the song picturization and finally understood the finer aspects of the movie. This is a definite must watch. Surya ROCKS!
